Interior Design Experience


  • Develop program & initial design concepts for clients

  • Create space plans, project scopes, color/materials palettes, budgets furniture and finishes selections, installation schedules

  • Designed, managed and implemented a very successful major remodel of my home (2014)

  • Work with realtors and homeowners to develop design concept to showcase property and to appeal to the targeted market

  • Design furniture plan, choose and install furnishings and accessories for residential properties for sale or rent in Sonoma and Napa Counties

  • Purchase and catalog accessory items for staged properties; maintain inventory

  • Work with photographers to ensure effective representation of the property

  • Consult with clients to create a color palette for residential properties.

  • Assist with specific paint, carpet, window, cabinetry, countertops, furnishings and accessory choices to create a cohesive look and to provide guidance for clients' future purchases.

  • Mortgage lending firm, responsible for staff development, marketing and operations. Worked with sales staff to succeed at consultative conversations with clients rather than simple "features & benefits" transactional conversations which resulted in higher conversations rates.

  • Directed 50+ person Coaching Department to greater client retention and satisfaction. Developed new flagship coaching program; created & hosted podcasts.
