KRISTIN KING - DIRECTOR OF DESIGN
As Director of Design at Interior Spaces Inc., Ms. King brings to the firm 14 years of professional experience. Kristin began her professional career in Manhattan, New York with Design Gallery, a high end residential and commercial design company. She then began working with Spatial Environmental Elements (SEE) as the design liaison with the staff architects, where she designed both residential and commercial spaces implementing the ultra contemporary international lines of furniture, lighting and accessories available at SEE. Her clientele included many famous music and film celebrities.
To broaden her design abilities, Kristin took the position of regional visual merchandiser for Mikasa International, focusing on tabletop design and retail store display. She was also a part of the new store openings and renovations team.
In 1994, Kristin began working for Laura Ashley Home, where she implemented and managed an interior design business for residential and commercial clients in Manhattan, Long Island and Westchester, New York. Her projects ranged from television executive offices at Rockefeller Center to ocean front estates in the Hamptons.
In 1998, Kristin started her own interior design business in Manhattan. In 2001, seeking to expand her client base, Kristin relocated to Los Angeles bringing her East Coast design experience Westward. Her cutting edge approach is being incorporated in both commercial and residential designs.
